Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Teach Mathematics to Classes 9 and 10, prepare students for the Board examination and support the phase test and revision programme.
Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to Classes 9 and 10 according to the scheme of work.
- Set, mark and record phase tests and terminal examinations.
- Maintain the class diary and set homework that consolidates the lesson.
- Identify students falling behind and arrange remedial support with the class teacher.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and report honestly on each student's progress.
- Take a share of assembly, invigilation and campus duties.
Qualifications and experience
- M.Sc. or B.S. in Mathematics, or B.Sc. with a teaching qualification.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- Command of the Matriculation syllabus and past paper patterns.
- Ability to teach confidently in both English and Urdu.
- Conduct consistent with the values of an Islamic institution.
Experience: At least 2 years teaching Mathematics at secondary level
