Primary Class Teacher
Take responsibility for a primary class: literacy, numeracy, classroom routine and the daily contact with parents that primary teaching depends on.
Responsibilities
- Teach the primary curriculum to an assigned class.
- Build reading fluency and written expression in Urdu and English.
- Establish number sense and secure mental arithmetic.
- Maintain the class diary and communicate daily with parents through it.
- Keep the classroom orderly, kind and predictable.
- Record attendance and report concerns promptly.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree; B.Ed. or PTC / CT preferred.
- Clear spoken Urdu and English.
- Genuine patience with young children.
- Conduct consistent with the values of an Islamic institution.
Experience: Experience with primary-age children preferred; strong candidates without it will be considered
