Islamic Studies and Quran Teacher
Teach Nazra Quran, Islamiat and Seerah across the middle and secondary classes, and maintain individual recitation progress records.
Responsibilities
- Teach Nazra Quran with attention to pronunciation and the basic rules of tajweed.
- Teach Islamiat according to the national curriculum, and Seerah as practical guidance.
- Maintain individual recitation progress records for every student.
- Prepare students for the campus qiraat and naat competitions.
- Supervise Zuhr prayer and contribute to the daily assembly.
Qualifications and experience
- Shahadatul Aalamiyyah, or M.A. Islamic Studies with a strong Quranic background.
- Correct recitation with sound knowledge of tajweed.
- Patience and skill in teaching young learners.
- Conduct consistent with the values of an Islamic institution.
